Protocol: Manners and Etiquette AND Our Annual Chili Cook-Off and Tailgate Party!

Speaker:  LaRaunce Fleming-CEO - The Etiquette Boutique

Over the centuries, as society has become more democratic, etiquette has become an excellent combination of good manners, common sense, and rules of conduct that reflect cultural norms and the rules of our society as a whole.  It has less to do with the fashion or who is in power and more to do with putting others at ease and an ethical code of conduct. When it comes to Government Meetings and Events, Protocol is so important that there is a 54 page guide published;  A Guide to Protocol and Etiquette for Official Entertainment, to follow so as not to offend or misrepresent. Protocol is often described as an industry or international standard. Following protocol with the right manners and etiquette is a crucial part of planning a successful government meeting.

Anyone that would like to participate in our Third Annual RCAC SGMP Chili Cook-Off, please bring a crockpot of chili ready to eat! We will have electric outlets and all the fixin's. Every attendee will receive a voting ballot, and additional ballots may be purchased for $1. There will be prizes and a whole year of bragging rights for the winner of the BEST chili! Email: Jennifer.Middleton@IHG.com by January 10th and let us know if we can count on your support!
